National guidance in the UK (NICE guideline NG87, 2018) has various recommendation around medication as the first line treatment, however for some either this is not an option or they would like to consider further support on any residual symptoms, therefore we wanted to highlight:
When non-pharmacological treatment is indicated for adults with ADHD, offer the following as a minimum:
-a structured supportive psychological intervention focused on ADHD
-regular follow‑up either in person or by phone.
Treatment may involve elements of or a full course of CBT. 
With this in mind, we offer two options of treatment, self help programmes with support and coaching.
Research has suggested that the most persistent difficulties associated with ADHD include time management, procrastination and organisation, therefore this is the focus of our first two programmes.
As evidence bases change, our commitment is that so will service and strategies.
OUR SELF HELP PROGRAMMES:
In line with our passion to make ADHD support accessible and to help keep you accountable, we have available two self help programmes with support.
We have a four-week self help programme which focuses on ADHD planning and organisation and a four-week self help programme for ADHD and impulsivity.
BOTH of our programmes include information about ADHD, CBT, you will engage in personal goal setting and learn strategies each week to try out. Each week builds on the last, with worksheets that you can print or actively edit via apps to support your engagement.
BOTH of our programmes automatically included a weekly check in's from our professional team to help keep you on track. We know how hard it is to motivate yourself if you have symptoms of ADHD, low mood or anxiety, therefore we believe accountability is key!
To help your journey, we also offer bespoke individual sessions to support you with the programme should you need. This offers a flexible and bespoke service.
Our service also offers Positive Psychology Coaching (PPC).
PPC is is similar to other types of coaching, however it is evidence-based, backed by a considerable body of professional research. It is a coaching model based on positive psychology concepts offering a structured and reliable approach to helping you achieve your goals.
Our service originally started from 'Clutter No More', which was a personal organising service. Although we now have various other aspects to our service as Adapt ADHD, this is an area that we still offer in limited capacity within Gloucestershire.
