Let's think about your personal values or goals! Scroll down!

Your values and goals

Starting your journey towards managing your ADHD symptoms. You, like us, will have experienced many times when you have set goals for your wellbeing/work/general life that have been unrealistic, set too high an expectation or don't break goals down and this can lead to 'setting ourselves up to fail' and this can lead us deflated and reduce morale.

This is why when setting goals, it really is important to:

🧭 Be really specific

🧭 Be time focused

🧭 Be realistic

🧭 Be able to review and measure our progress.

We also need to base goals on what is important, where we would like to move towards in the coming days, weeks, months and years. Our personal goals can change, goals can be broken down, goals aren't static.

Our values are the things that are important to us, they are our guide in life.

Goals work best when they are attached to our personal values. To move in a 'valued direction' rather than achieving an outcome can sometime take off the pressure and support us in our journey each day!

We can help you set goals that are in line with your values (family, work, community, spirituality, relationships etc). We know that having realistic goals are the cornerstone for starting and maintaining your journey - they need to be broken down and importantly reviewed. We can help you with this, coaching/CBT approaches are all about supporting you to make a forward motion, at your own pace.
