ADHD coaching and mentoring
ADHD coaching and mentoring is a supportive, practical approach designed to help individuals with ADHD navigate daily challenges and reach their goals. Unlike traditional therapy, which often focuses on emotions and past experiences, ADHD coaching is forward-looking and action-oriented. A coach or mentor works alongside you to understand your unique strengths and struggles, offering tools and strategies tailored to your life, finding what truly works for you, and having someone who gets it in your corner. Coaching and mentoring can be offered to adults, young people and children. This kind of support can make life feel less overwhelming and more achievable, helping you turn your ideas into action without losing sight of what matters most.
Starting coaching/
mentoring...
Starting coaching or mentoring is like giving yourself the space and support to turn your goals into a clear, realistic plan, with someone by your side to keep you focused, motivated, and accountable along the way.

Book an initial call
We’ll start with a first call to talk about what’s going on for you, what you’d like to change, and answer any questions you have. It’s a chance for both of us to see if coaching or mentoring for your young person feels like the right fit.
There is no cost and no obligation attached to this call.

What happens in coaching?
1. Assessment and contracting session - Getting Clear on Your Goals
If you decide to go ahead, our first full session will dig a little deeper. We’ll explore what’s working, what’s not, and what really matters to you so we can set clear goals together.
Contracting allows us to set the guidelines about how we will work together.
2. Your Personalised Plan
From there, we’ll create a plan that’s completely tailored to you. Let's set some goals, make sense of what you need and how you can move towards these goals. Sessions will focus on your strengths and a growth mindset.
3. Regular Sessions (Your Support Space)
We’ll meet weekly or every other week to check in, celebrate wins, tackle any roadblocks, and make sure you’re moving forward in a way that feels doable.
4. Between Sessions
Coaching doesn’t just happen in our sessions. You’ll have action steps, reminders, and little tweaks along the way to keep the momentum going. And as life changes, we’ll adjust the plan so it always works for you.
What happens in
mentoring?
With parental consent and written confirmation, we can work with children and young people to offer mentoring support.
1. It normally starts with a conversation with parent/guardian and the child.
2. Setting the Scene
Once we decide to work together, we’ll talk through what mentoring will look like for you. Think of it as creating a roadmap that feels supportive and realistic, not overwhelming.
3. Learning & Sharing
Mentoring is all about guidance and insight. I’ll share tips, strategies, and real-life tools that have worked for others, and we’ll explore how to make them fit your unique situation.
4. Walking Beside You
This isn’t about me telling you what to do, it’s about walking alongside you. We’ll check in regularly, talk through challenges, and celebrate wins, big or small.
5. Growing Confidence
Over time, mentoring helps you feel more capable, less stuck, and more confident about handling life with ADHD in a way that works for you—not against you.
